PRLB Q&A w/ Loyola Blakefield senior goalie and Goucher College commit, Cole Corrigan

Cole: “Just like the day after a bad chili cook off, we are knotted at deuces”

What Made You Decide to Commit to this College/University?

Cole: Close proximity to home, Good academics, and obviously the money from financial aid made a huge difference in my decision.

How would you describe the recruiting process?

Cole: I would describe the process as selective. I had to part ways with many schools either because my level of play/style wasn’t up to their standards or tuition being too high.

What’s your favorite

Chipotle

Qdoba

What kind of sticks do you play with? *

Cole: Stx eclipse II: Stringking Metal 2 shaft (attack length)

High School season Outlook?

Cole: Hopefully to come together as a group, I don’t really think that game outcomes matter that much. I only wish for unity among the different classes on our team.

What do you want to major to in?

Cole: Business Management

What are your hobbies?

Cole: Cars,

What’s it like being a high school lacrosse player from the state of Maryland?

Cole: Intense; since middle school I’ve pushed myself either through clinics or in my backyard to get better every day. The competition in Maryland was extremely tough and starting spots don’t come easy. I knew to be better than the keeper next to me I had to improve every time I picked up a stick; whether getting shots on a weekly basis to playing wall ball.

Anybody you would like to Thank?

Cole: I would love to thank my parents for not only introducing me to the sport; but for sacrificing their time in money to keep me in tournaments and playing the game I love.
