Jonny Cool

Here are the Top players who impressed us at the Nike Nationals event this past weekend.

We start with the 6-10.

6. Kyle Morris – Gilman (Md.) – Goalie – Bmore 22’s:

BMore 22’s won their division championship for this event and Morris was a key part of how they got there. Morris saw some big-time shooters along the way and stood on his head making big saves. Morris is committed to University of Virginia.

7. Charlie Iler – San Ramon Valley (Ca.) – Midfield – Pacific Northwest 22’s.

Another stud to kee an eye on from out west. Iller definitely has his fundamentals down and an excellent shooting game. Charlie will continue to grow and improve his game. In our opinion, Iler has the potential to be a top midfielder in the nation.

8. Andrew Atchison – Lassiter (Ga.) – Attack – South ‘21:

Atchison gives the meaning of being nifty. The senior attackman is a threat to score any time he has the rock. Good field sense. Good shooting mechanics. Is unselfish. Just a really good lacrosse player. Andrew is committed to Denver.

9. Jonny Cool – McDonogh (Md.) – LSM – Bmore 22’s:

It’s easy to pay attention to the scorers from this BMore 2022 team. It was like a Dream Team. Just loaded with talent all over the field. But the defense was just as solid with guys such as Billy Dwan and Cool holding down the fort. Jonny is smooth when he gets the rock and moves it up field. He can play LSM or close defense. Makes good sound checks. Does great 1-on-1.

10. William Perez III – Severn (Md.) – Goalie – DMV 23’s:

Perez made some big stops in the 2023 championship game. Really like how William leads his defenders and is a good talker. Gets the ball out quickly for the clear without panic. Perez has quick hands. Doesn’t get flustered when he gives up a tough goal. Solid weekend for this netminder.

*1-5 will be posted Tomorrow*
